Burning the clocks
As part of the Burning the Clocks parade, people gather to make paper and willow lanterns which they carry through the city before burning on the beach as a symbol of the end of the year. The event combines a family solstice parade with a popular firework display.
The parade starts at 6:30pm and is expected to arrive at Madeira Drive at 7:15pm. The event will end around 8:00pm - leaving you plenty of time to celebrate the occasion with a ride on the Brighton Wheel!
